We are spearheading the transformation of the Single Photon Emission Computed Tomography imaging systems from analog to digital detection technology, enabling hospitals and clinicians to provide superior healthcare services at a much lower cost.
Position Responsibilities
- Design and develop firmware for embedded systems.
- Involved in new projects design as well as support existing products.
- Collaborate with other teams to integrate best practices solutions throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Participate in design reviews and share technical insights with the team.
- Maintain accurate design files and documentation in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Follow departmental processes for design and project management.
Experiences, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Sc. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
- At least 3 years of experience in firmware development for embedded systems, including design, implementation, and debugging.
- Strong understanding of embedded hardware architectures and integration with mixed-signal designs (Analog + Digital).
- Experience in reading and understanding electrical schemes.
- Experience in firmware design and tools for Altera (Intel) and Xilinx (AMD) FPGA – advantage.
- Familiarity with General Purpose Operating Systems (Linux, Raspberry OS) in embedded environments.
- Familiarity with interfaces and protocols such as LVDS, I²C, SPI, USB.
- Hands-on experience with testing methodologies, lab equipment, and debugging techniques.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements (EMC, IEC-60601 safety standards).
- Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and standards relevant to embedded systems.
- Experience using security compliance tools – advantage.
- Team player, independent and fast learner.
- Fluent in Hebrew and English.
