This position reports directly to the Executive VP, Global Marketing at Spectrum Dynamics Medical. Responsible for expanding SDM’s global and regional customer-facing marketing strategy, this role will own and extend value proposition and messaging, downstream campaign strategy, sales enablement tools, and other customer-facing communications. This role will partner closely with colleagues to deploy digital marketing tactics and events and experiences, and to relay voice-of-customer (VOC) insights to Product Management. While global in nature, this position will also support localization in key regions.

 

Position Responsibilities

The Downstream Marketing Manager will serve as a critical commercial leader responsible for driving market adoption, customer engagement, and revenue growth for the VERITON® 360° CZT SPECT/CT and D-SPECT® cardiac SPECT product lines. This individual will lead the development and execution of downstream marketing initiatives, collaborating cross-functionally to position the portfolio for sustained market leadership. The ideal candidate brings 3-5 years of marketing experience in the nuclear medicine industry, with demonstrated success launching and supporting complex capital equipment products in diagnostic imaging, cardiology, oncology, nuclear medicine, molecular imaging, or related fields.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Commercial Strategy & Execution
  • Develop and implement comprehensive downstream marketing plans to drive product and solution adoption.
  • Support sales funnel creation and acceleration through segmentation, targeting strategies, value-based messaging, and field-ready commercial plays.
  • Collaborate closely with the Sales organization to deliver sales enablement tools, training, competitive insights, and customer-facing materials that improve selling effectiveness.
  • Own go-to-market planning and field readiness for key initiatives (launch kits, talk tracks, objection handling, battlecards, and internal FAQs) in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and key performance metrics to optimize programs and campaigns.

 

  1. Product Positioning, Messaging & Value Communication
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on VERITON® and D-SPECT®, translating complex technical features (CZT detectors, AI-based imaging, unique system architecture, quantification capabilities, workflow advantages) into compelling clinical and economic value propositions.
  • Create and maintain high-quality customer-facing and sales enablement content, including brochures, pitch decks, clinical evidence summaries, case studies, presentations, digital assets, and white papers—providing master versions for regional localization.
  • Ensure clear, differentiated positioning across segments (general nuclear medicine, cardiology, oncology, theranostics).
  • Maintain a clear messaging architecture (core narrative, proof points, claims support, and persona-specific talk tracks) to ensure consistency across personas, channels, and regions.

 

  1. Customer Engagement & Voice-of-Customer (VOC)
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clinicians, technologists, department leaders, and key opinion leaders (KOLs).
  • Collaborate on customer advisory boards, user groups, and early-adopter programs.
  • Gather VOC insights to influence product roadmap, improve customer satisfaction, and refine messaging and training materials.
  • Translate VOC into prioritized, actionable inputs for Product Management (requirements, workflow needs, and competitive gaps) and close the loop with commercial teams.

 

  1. Product Launches & Lifecycle Management
  • Partner with Product Management and R&D to support feature updates, new releases, and portfolio enhancements.
  • Lead downstream launch readiness and execution—including messaging, field enablement, campaign planning, internal communications, and launch deliverables—ensuring commercial teams are prepared to sell and support adoption.
  • Manage product lifecycle activities, ensuring market alignment and customer satisfaction throughout the installed base.

 

  1. Marketing Communications & Events
  • Coordinate with the team on marketing activities for major industry congresses (e.g., SNMMI, EANM, ASNC, RSNA, etc.), including objectives, booth messaging, collateral development, hands-on demonstrations, scientific engagement, and follow-up plays in partnership with Sales.
  • Partner with the digital marketing owner to develop and execute digital tactics (email, social media, webinars, website updates) by providing messaging, content briefs, and downstream campaign strategy; measure performance and optimize.
  • Support physician education programs, lunch-and-learns, and training sessions.

 

  1. Competitive Intelligence & Market Analysis
  • Contribute to ongoing competitive analysis across nuclear medicine, SPECT/CT, PET/CT, and emerging modalities.
  • Contribute to competitive matrices, market maps, counter-positioning strategies, and field-ready tools.
  • Identify growth opportunities, emerging clinical applications, and threats to the product category.

 

  1. Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Serve as a key partner to Sales, Clinical Applications, Product Management, R&D, Operations, Regulatory, and Medical Affairs.
  • Support onboarding and continuous training initiatives for commercial teams.
  • Provide downstream insights to guide strategic decisions, pricing strategy, and roadmap prioritization.

Experiences, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field.
  • 5–10 years of experience in downstream, field, product, or solutions marketing within the healthcare, medical devices, or MedTech sector.
  • Demonstrated success in supporting capital equipment or imaging technologies.
  • Strong understanding of clinical workflows and customer needs in cardiology, nuclear medicine, radiology, or oncology.
  • Proven experience developing marketing collateral, value messaging, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts simply and effectively to both clinical and executive audiences.
  • Project management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Comfort working in a high-growth, early-stage environment with shifting priorities—able to adapt quickly, stay organized, and execute with limited direction when needed.

Preferred

  • Experience with nuclear medicine, SPECT/CT, PET/CT, or advanced imaging technologies.
  • Background working with AI-enabled imaging, workflow optimization, or quantification tools.
  • Experience supporting global markets and multi-regional product launches.

Esha Bandyopadhyay serves as Spectrum Dynamics Medical’s General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of the Board. In this role, she leads all of the company’s legal and compliance functions.

She brings to Spectrum a quarter century of legal experience with a particular focus on the medical device industry. Prior to joining Spectrum, Esha was a partner at several distinguished law firms, including Fish & Richardson, Winston & Strawn, and Kirkland & Ellis.

Esha holds a JD from U.C. Berkeley School of Law, and a BA in Economics from the University of California, San Diego, where – at 18 – she was the youngest graduate in the university’s history.

Xin Ma

Head of China Operations

Xin serves as Shanghai Guangmai (SDs China Division) CEO since 2021.

Before joining the company, Xin served as CEO at Foze Medical Technology Limited and CEO at Shanghai Hi-tech Medical Technology limited for over 12 years.

Ruthie Ben-kish

VP of Research & Development and Program Management Officer

Ruthie BenKish serves as the director of software development anmanages the main products development programs in Spectrum Dynamics Medical. 

Ruthie joined the company as software department manager and was then promoted to Director of Software development before assuming her current role. Ruthie brings to Spectrum Dynamics Medical over 25 years of experience in development of medical imaging and diagnostic systems of multiple modalities. 

Ruthie holds a BSc degree in Electrical Engineering and a MSc degree in Biomedical Engineering from the Technion Institute of Technology.

Dalia Shiti

VP of Clinical Applications

Dalia Shiti serves as Spectrum Dynamics Medical Vice President of clinical applications being responsible for the applications training of the company’s customers worldwide. 

In her previous roles in the company Dalia served as clinical applications specialist and clinical application manager.   

Before joining the company Dalia served as leading technician in Bnai Zion Medical Center, Israel.

Nilda Rivera

Senior Director of Product Marketing

Nilda Rivera is responsible for the worldwide marketing activities of Spectrum Dynamics Medical including trade shows, advertisement, web and social media, products definition, sales tool development etc. 

Prior to joining the company Nilda worked at GE for many years and held various senior nuclear medicine and PET sales and marketing roles. Before joining GE Nilda worked as staff nuclear medicine technologist / clinical instructor University of Miami Jackson Memorial Hospital. 

Nilda holds a BSc degree in Biology/Chemistry from the University of Miami and is also nuclear medicine technologist.

Ayelet Dekel

VP of Human Resources

Ayelet Dekel serves as Spectrum Dynamics Medical Vice President of human resources, being responsible for the global people operations. 

Ayelet joined the company as supply chain manager later becoming VP of Operations and HR manager before assuming her current role in the company. 

Ayelet brings to Spectrum Dynamics 20 years of experience in the global operations and human resources management. 

Ayelet holds a BSc degree in industrial engineering and an Advanced Certificate Studies in Human Resources from Bar Ilan University.

Igor brings over 20 years of solid quality, regulatory and engineering experience in the healthcare and capital equipment industry. Prior to joining Spectrum Dynamics, Igor served as Vice President of Quality and Regulatory at KarmelSonix (ASX: KSI), an Australian healthcare company. Before that, he served for 10 years as Director of Global Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs at Camtek (NYSE: CAMT).  

Igor holds a BSc degree in Industrial Engineering from Ben Gurion University and a MSc degree in System Engineering and Management from the Technion Institute of Technology and is a Certified Quality Engineer. 

Amir Stadtmauer

Amir Stadtmauer is responsible for leading the global operations activities of Spectrum Dynamics Medicalwhich includes manufacturing, sourcing, logisticsinformation system and engineering 

Amir has a vast supply chain experience of over 22 years in leading operation teams of capital equipment companies. 

Amir holds an MSc degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from Tel-Aviv University.

Tomer Gabay

Chief Executive Officer

Tomer Gabay serves as Spectrum Dynamics Medical’s CEO, being responsible for setting the company’s vision and strategy, leading the executive team and other senior management, balancing short-term and long-term goals, and driving growth by exploring new business models, markets, and products.

Before assuming the role of CEO, Tomer served as the company’s CFO.

Before joining the company, Tomer served as an audit manager of public and private companies in various industries at PwC Israel.

Tomer brings over 15 years of experience holding leadership roles in finance, business and operations in global organizations, as well as startups, including business planning, budgeting, forecasting, negotiations, due-diligence and fundraising. Tomer holds a BA in Economics and Accounting, and is a certified public accountant.

Nathaniel Roth

Chief R&D and Clinical Research Officer

Nathaniel Roth serves as Spectrum Dynamics Medical Vice President of research and development where he oversees and leads the development of the company’s products, clinical research and innovative technologies. 

Nathaniel joined the company as physicist later taking roles of Chief Physicist, Chief Physicist and Clinical Research Director, R&D manager before assuming his current role. 

Prior to joining the company, Nathaniel served as physicist for EADS, a military field company.  

Nathaniel holds a MSc degree in physics from University of Nice, France with additional post graduate degree in optics from the University of Saint Etienne.

Jim Haisler

Strategic Advisor

Jim Haisler has been an integral part of Spectrum Dynamics Medical for close to two decades, previously serving as the company’s chief executive officer, and later leading the company’s global commercial operations, and holding responsibility for sales and marketing of the company’s product portfolio. As of 2026, Jim serves as a Strategic Advisor to the company, continuing to share his extensive experience in general management, sales and marketing in the field of medical diagnostic imaging and therapy.

Prior to joining the company, Jim held executive level management positions with Philips Medical Systems, PhyMatrix Diagnostic Imaging, Dornier Medical Systems, N.A. and ADAC Laboratories.

Jim has an educational background in X-ray and Nuclear Medicine Technology and holds an MBA from Pepperdine University.

Yoel Zilberstien

Founder

Yoel Zilberstien is the founder of Spectrum Dynamics Medical. 

Yoel started his career as mechanical engineer in Elscint in the nuclear medicine division where he developed many of the technologies that have become standard within the SPECT industry. This division was later bought by GE. After leaving Elscint Yoel joined Biosense who focused on Electro-Physiology where he co-invented an endo-vascular GPS guidance system today known as the Carto system. Biosense was later bought by Johnson & Johnson.  

In 2000 Yoel founded the Spectrum Dynamics Medical with the vision of transforming the slow and unclear analog nuclear imaging technology to clear, digital and almost online imaging. Thereby providing the platforms for innovative clinical imaging therapy guiding applications. 

Yoel holds BSc degree in mechanical engineering from the Technion Institute of Technology. 

Gilad Yoeli

Chief Executive Officer

Gilad serves as Spectrum Dynamics Medical CEO since 2019. 

Before assuming the role of CEO Gilad served as the company CFO and chief operations officer of the company 

Before joining the company Gilad served as Chief Financial Officer at CoreFlow, and Senior Manager at Ernst & Young.  

Gilad graduated the University of Haifa with a BA degree in Economics and has spent his career in roles of increasing responsibility giving him a great range of exposure and leadership in business planning, medical devices, entrepreneurship, venture capital, and biotechnology.
